《科創板日報》2日訊，LG Display正在開發一種名為高遷移率氧化物（HMO）的薄膜晶體管（TFT）背板技術，該技術將應用于第六代中小尺寸OLED。由于蘋果公司正在考慮將HMO作為下一代低功耗背板的候選材料，以取代低溫多晶氧化物（LTPO）TFT，LG Display已開始對該技術進行驗證。韓國業內人士推測，LG Display的HMO技術可能主要應用于Apple Watch等設備中使用的OLED顯示屏。另外，蘋果并不傾向于獨家供貨，而是更傾向于雙渠道或三渠道供貨策略。 (the elec)
