Ongoing exhibitions: Subsequent works from the 798 LCE gallery will be showcased at the Songzhuang Art Market in China, at the Tungzhou Art Shop, until May 24; from May 29 to 31, at the “Grandeur World Pet Fair，GWPF” (Hangzhou venue) W436 “St.Tails ”. The series will then return to Beijing, where it will be exhibited in Chengdu in late June. 我們將一頂鏟屎官帽（棒球帽）轉化為一場關于“加冕”的藝術儀式。

藝術家們以完全自由的創作姿態，在帽身之上完成對“鏟屎官”身份的藝術解構與重塑。每一頂帽子，都是一次獨立的藝術宣言：寵物是主人的王子、公主，而藝術，為這份愛加冕。展覽以帽為媒，串聯起多元藝術風格與萬千人寵故事，讓日常的陪伴，升華為可被佩戴、可被感知的藝術。

短短數周內逾50位國內外藝術工作者互相推薦并以行動參予，其中不乏國內的大腕，國外藝術學院教授、知名流浪動物救援組織的負責人，同時也有12歲的兒童繪畫天才，各顯神通，好不熱鬧！

有老師的作品利用了標識，高明的提升了官帽的可觀性。我也相信大部分人不會一眼見標識就愛上，標識是賦予了帽子的定位，如何化腐朽為神奇，就是這次“鏟屎官帽”二次創造最大的功課。

仿佛就像人生，在有限的空間里做出精彩的突破，可能會長出更可貴的花朵。

所有的演繹，花過心思，愿意跟這個世界對話，傳達著愛動物，作為人類如何善待我們跟動物之間的關系，讓世界以至宇宙，更值得我們留戀並存，是這一次活動其中的意義。

“藝術家為鏟屎官加冕”是一個從無變有的過程，暫時我還不知道能走多遠，但對于藝術家、流浪動物救助組織，甚至St.Tails我祈求的是商業運作，一手抱著藝術 一手抱著工益一起飛翔

本次展覽將St.Tails鏟屎官帽子（5原色）作為空間物與媒介，完成一場人和寵物愛的藝術加冕儀式。多位當代藝術家以St.Tails帽子為載體進行自由創作，重構其符號、形式與精神內涵。聚焦于人類與陪伴生命體之間的共生關系，探討親密日常里的依戀、主體性、溫柔與權力，共生、守護與身份。日常陪伴之間，是溫柔又深刻的加冕。彼此主權，相互加冕。

We begin with a familiar object: the “pet parent” cap—a baseball cap embedded in everyday life. Through artistic intervention, it is reconfigured as a site ofcoronation.

Working with complete freedom, the artists engage the cap as both surface and symbol, deconstructing and rearticulating the identity of the “pet owner.” Each piece emerges as an autonomous proposition: within this shifted perspective, animals assume the roles of princes and princesses, while art performs the act of crowning—an elevation of care, intimacy, and emotional reciprocity.

As a medium, the cap becomes a point of convergence, bringing together heterogeneous artistic languages and a multiplicity of human–animal narratives. What is ordinarily fleeting—daily companionship—is translated into something tangible, wearable, and sensorially present.

Within a matter of weeks, over fifty practitioners from across China and beyond joined through networks of recommendation and affinity. The participants range from established figures in the contemporary art field, to professors at international academies, to leaders of animal rescue organizations, and even a twelve-year-old painting prodigy. Their coexistence generates a dynamic field of expression—plural, unhierarchical, and alive.

Certain works engage with pre-existing insignia, subtly amplifying the visual authority of the “official cap.” Yet the logo itself does not guarantee attachment; it merely assigns a position. The true challenge—and potential—lies in the act of transformation: how the residual and the ordinary may be transfigured into something resonant.

In this sense, the project echoes a broader condition of life: within constrained frameworks, it is still possible to produce moments of rupture—out of which something unexpectedly vital may emerge.

Across these works runs a shared impulse: a desire to enter into dialogue with the world, to articulate care for animals, and to reconsider the ethical and emotional dimensions of human–animal relations. It gestures toward a vision in which the world—and even the cosmos—becomes more inhabitable, more worthy of coexistence.

Kindness, often perceived as scarce, may simply be awaiting the conditions in which it can unfold.

Whether one attributes this to faith, chance, or collective effort, one thing remains clear: what cannot be realized alone becomes possible together.

Curatorial Statement

This exhibition takes the St.Tails “pet parent” caps (in five primary colors) as spatial objects and as a medium, staging an artistic ritual of coronation centered on the bond between humans and their animal companions.

A group of contemporary artists engage the St.Tails cap as a site of intervention, freely reworking its symbolic language, formal structure, and underlying spirit.

Focusing on the symbiotic relationship between humans and companion beings, the exhibition explores intimacy within the everyday—attachment, subjectivity, tenderness, and power—alongside notions of coexistence, care, and identity.

Within daily companionship unfolds a form of coronation that is both gentle and profound: a mutual recognition of sovereignty, a shared act of crowning.
