5月13日，自然資源部發布西藏自治區江達縣玉龍銅礦資源儲量核實勘查項目成果：礦區新增銅資源量131.42萬噸、鉬資源量10.77萬噸、銀資源量793噸。
至此，玉龍礦區累計查明銅資源量已達753.4萬噸、鉬資源量45.9萬噸、銀資源量3048噸，標志著青藏高原大型銅多金屬資源基地建設邁上新臺階。
玉龍銅礦位于藏東三江成礦帶中的玉龍斑巖銅礦帶北段，是我國規模最大、經濟價值最高的斑巖—矽卡巖型銅多金屬礦床之一，目前年產銅金屬量超15萬噸。
