財聯社5月12日電，據報道，日本橫濱港日前啟動一項實證試驗，在海上設置數據中心以應對生成式人工智能與云服務普及帶來的需求上升，測試能否靠太陽能提供全部電力。參與試驗的日本郵船介紹，這是全球首個100%靠可再生能源運行的海上浮體式數據中心。NTT Facilities公司、橫濱市政府等也參與，計劃用一年時間檢驗其對海浪搖晃及海水鹽分的耐受性。
