據意大利記者斯基拉的消息，熱刺主帥德澤爾比欣賞格林伍德，熱刺若保級可能會嘗試簽下他。
斯基拉表示，格林伍德可能會在今夏轉會窗離開馬賽。德澤爾比十分欣賞他，且和這位前鋒私交甚好。因此，如果熱刺本賽季能保住英超席位，熱刺方面可能會出手嘗試簽下格林伍德。
截至目前，格林伍德共為馬賽出場79次，打進47球助攻16次。現在他在德轉上的身價為5500萬歐元。
