5月9日，網民發視頻稱湖南益陽赫山區有釣魚者在河中釣到一具遺體。當地村干部告訴記者，事情屬實，撈上來的是一具女性遺體，遺體已送去殯儀館，死者家屬已找到。記者從當地派出所獲悉，初查女子系落水身亡，排除刑事案件。
