當地時間16日，央視記者獲悉，由于薪資談判破裂，位于美國紐約州東南部鐵路長島鐵路的員工當天開始罷工，預計約有30萬名日常通勤的乘客受到影響。
紐約州州長凱茜·霍楚爾表示，長島鐵路運行至關重要，希望勞資雙方重返談判桌，持續協商直至達成協議。（央視記者 吳漢嬰）
