在第47屆世界新聞設計大賽評選中，中國日報選送的中華全國總工會八聯版、敦煌八聯版、風物圖志等系列作品榮獲14項大獎。作為新聞設計領域最具權威的全球賽事，世界新聞設計大賽由國際新聞設計協會發起，在國際新聞界與“普利策”新聞獎、“荷賽”齊名。自2012年參賽以來，中國日報累計獲得80余項大獎。
