A planned China tour by Canadian R&B singer Haley Smalls has been abruptly cancelled, sparking debate on Chinese social media over the unusual reason given by organizers.
4月22日,@LuuvLabel(上海粉鹿文化傳播有限公司)發布一則演出取消公告。公告稱加拿大籍女歌手Haley Smalls原定于4月30日在北京舉辦的巡演,已確認取消。原因是五一高鐵票難搶以及擔憂飛行過多等。

據了解,歌手Haley Smalls是來自多倫多的獨立R&B歌手,這是她的首次中國巡演。
演唱會主辦方@LuuvLabel 4月17日發布的巡演信息顯示,Haley Smalls的中國巡演安排為:4月30日北京、5月1日上海、5月3日深圳、5月4日廣州,北京站為首站。
The independent artist from Toronto was set to kick off her first China tour in Beijing on April 30, followed by shows in Shanghai, Shenzhen and Guangzhou from May 1 to May 4. However, on Wednesday, Luuv Label, the promoter, announced that the Beijing stop, and possibly the entire tour, had been cancelled.

據上游新聞消息,主辦方上海粉鹿文化傳播有限公司工作人員表示,確認北京站演唱會已取消,原因是藝人沒買到高鐵票(擔心影響接下來的行程),且她不愿意乘坐飛機——她本身恐飛。
According to a staff member cited by Upstream News, the cancellation was due to logistical issues. Smalls reportedly failed to secure high-speed rail tickets, citing concerns that train travel would disrupt her schedule, and also refused to fly because of a fear of flying.
“北京到上海本來是高鐵,沒買到票,而且她是歐美人,不太懂什么候補……上海到深圳原計劃是坐飛機,她讓我們取消,改乘7個半小時的高鐵。”工作人員表示,國內其他站的演出行程Haley Smalls都要求改成了高鐵,“我們也理解她的理由。”
主辦方的這一取消理由,遭到部分樂迷的吐槽,“既然恐飛,為何當初籌備遠距離演出?”

也有網友表示,對于“恐飛人”來說,飛行確實是挑戰。
The explanation drew immediate pushback, with one netizen asking: "If she's afraid of flying, why plan a long-distance tour in the first place?" Others expressed sympathy, noting that aviophobia can be a genuine challenge for those who experience it.

《科技日報》此前曾發文科普“恐飛癥”。河南醫藥大學第二附屬醫院睡眠醫學科主治醫師孫啟蒙稱,恐飛癥指的是對乘坐飛機產生持續過度的恐懼,往往伴隨心慌發抖等身體反應,甚至因此放棄飛行。
Science and Technology Daily has previously addressed the condition, citing Sun Qimeng, a physician at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Henan Medical University in Henan province. "Aviophobia refers to a persistent and excessive fear of flying, often accompanied by physical symptoms such as a racing heart and trembling, and in some cases leads sufferers to avoid flying altogether," Sun said.
不過,孫啟蒙醫生也提醒,恐飛不是絕癥,很多人通過科學應對最終都能克服心理障礙,重新享受飛行的自由。
應對恐飛癥,不妨試試這些方法
? 提前了解航空安全知識,增強信心;
? 嘗試運用一些放松技巧,比如深呼吸,慢慢地吸氣四秒,然后屏氣四秒,然后呼氣六秒,或者借助冥想音頻來舒緩情緒;
? 通過聽音樂、看電影等方式轉移注意力;
? 如果恐飛已經嚴重影響到了生活,建議及時尋求心理幫助,別硬扛。
