      自豪!2026國王生日榮譽名單揭曉!兩名華裔上榜!為新西蘭作出重要貢獻!

      今日(6月1日),

      新西蘭2026年國王生日榮譽名單

      (King’s Birthday Honours)公布,

      全國共有178人因其在

      社區、衛生、教育、科學、體育、商業等

      領域的貢獻受到表彰,

      其中包括6位

      新晉爵士(Knights)與女爵(Dames),

      以及兩名華裔榮譽獲得者。


      獲得爵士頭銜的四位人士分別是:Dr Paul Baker、Peter Boshier、James Chapman和David Ellis。


      其中,Paul Baker爵士為新西蘭醫療衛生事業作出貢獻,在國內和國際上都對臨床實踐產生了深遠的影響。

      據新西蘭總理Christopher Luxon介紹,Paul Baker爵士是奧克蘭Starship兒童醫院的麻醉顧問,也是氣道管理專家,40余年來通過“AirwaySkills”培訓項目親自指導了超過5000名麻醉師、急診醫師和重癥醫生。

      Peter Boshier爵士曾任首席家庭法院法官和首席監察專員,致力于加強政府信息的透明與可及性。James Chapman爵士自1980年代起在讀寫能力教學及閱讀障礙研究領域作出開創性貢獻,影響了國家政策與學校教學。David Ellis爵士對純血馬產業和慈善事業的貢獻而獲譽,他支持動物福利、健康、教育等多個領域及救災工作。

      獲得女爵頭銜的兩位人士是Susan Hassall和Elizabeth Rata教授。

      Luxon總理表示,Susan Hassall女爵在漢密爾頓男子高中和懷卡托大學的工作中推動了學術與體育成就,并持續支持社區發展和慈善機構。Elizabeth Rata女爵作為教育社會學家,五十年職業生涯專注于民族政治與課程知識研究,是1980年代毛利語言沉浸式學校的創始成員,在國際上享有盛譽。

      黃華鈴:獲得ONZM勛章

      今年,新西蘭華裔黃華鈴先生(Rodney Wong) 獲得ONZM勛章。

      黃華鈴先生是一位杰出的新西蘭商人,長期服務于商業與社區,尤其致力于推動惠及野生動物和公眾的重要設施建設。

      作為華人移民后代,黃華鈴的祖父于1920年代繳納人頭稅來到新西蘭,父親于1940年以難民身份抵新尋求更好生活。這份家族記憶驅動他回饋社會。

      他曾聯合創立“Wildbase康復中心”,為國家級本土野生動物醫院籌集資金并主導開發。2025年,他獲任東部與中部社區信托基金受托人。作為北帕醫院基金會受托人,他幫助資助并建成急診科中的兒童急救室。他還擔任跨宗教慈善社會服務機構Manchester House的主席。

      在商界,黃華鈴先生曾任International Fine Foods首席執行官十年,并擔任Yoplait新西蘭公司CEO、所有者及董事總經理。他曾主持新西蘭農作物與食品研究所,領導其與Hort NZ合并成立Plant & Food Research,并出任副主委。他是新西蘭食品科技學會會士,曾擔任國家科學挑戰計劃高價值營養中心(National Science Challenge’s Centre for High Value Nutrition)的董事。

      黃華鈴先生還擔任新西蘭華人人頭稅遺產信托基金(Chinese Poll Tax Heritage Trust)主席,積極推廣新西蘭華人的歷史與貢獻。自1988年以來,黃先生一直積極參與扶輪社活動,曾擔任北島南部地區總監和Awapuni扶輪社社長。

      新西蘭華人醫生Dr Luk Sun Chin在2026年國王生日榮譽名單中被授予MNZM勛章,以表彰他50多年來對醫療健康及輕駕車賽馬領域的卓越貢獻。

      Chin醫生是新西蘭華人社區的杰出代表。他作為麻醉科、疼痛及重癥監護專家,1975年幫助建立了懷卡托醫院的ICU和疼痛服務——當時全國僅此第二家。1991年,他聯合開發了漢密爾頓的Anglesea醫療中心,即懷卡托首家日間手術中心。

      40年來,他累計為該地區私立醫療設施帶來約1.5億紐幣的投資,并設立基金資助年輕麻醉??漆t生深造。

      令人驚嘆的是,83歲的Chin先生同時還是新西蘭最年長的持證輕駕車賽馬馴馬師和騎手。自1980年起,他培育的賽馬已贏得超過200場比賽,他本人駕駛獲勝逾百次,至今仍每周出賽。

      面對榮譽,Chin醫生謙虛地說:“這有點不好意思,我的生活中得到了太多人的幫助。”

      “賽馬讓我保持年輕,人必須一直動起來?!盋hin補充說。
