紅星資本局消息，近日有市場消息稱，紅果免費短劇APP近期有電影作品出現了“VIP”標識，紅果未來或推行“短劇引流、影視變現”的雙軌道運營策略。5月3日，紅果短劇相關負責人告訴紅星資本局，為增加內容豐富性，滿足不同用戶的需求，應版權方要求，紅果短劇APP有極少量內容只能開通VIP后觀看。該設置自平臺上線之初即已存在，并非近期新增功能。
