最近的表情包圈，來了一位氣質(zhì)特別的新角色：一只背著手的負(fù)鼠。

它沒有復(fù)雜劇情，也沒有夸張臺(tái)詞，只是安安靜靜站在那里，兩只小爪子自然背在身后。

A new meme has recently entered the chat: a possum standing with its little paws behind its back. There is no dramatic story behind it, and no punchline is needed. It simply stands there, quiet and still, as if taking a slow walk on a peaceful afternoon — or as if it has suddenly paused to think about life.

“背手負(fù)鼠”到底是什么梗？

據(jù)Vista看天下，這場全網(wǎng)爆火的負(fù)鼠熱潮，源自一張國外網(wǎng)友抓拍的真實(shí)照片。一只負(fù)鼠意外闖入民居，背著手靜靜站在窗邊眺望遠(yuǎn)方，背影充滿故事感。

The meme first came from a real photo shared on social media. In the picture, a wild possum is seen standing near a window or the edge of a room, leaning forward slightly and looking off to the side. What really caught people's attention, however, was its pose: its two little paws happened to be tucked neatly behind its back.

它不像普通動(dòng)物表情包那樣靠賣萌取勝，反而帶著一種奇妙的沉穩(wěn)感，仿佛正在認(rèn)真思考什么重大問題。

再加上負(fù)鼠本身長相有點(diǎn)呆、有點(diǎn)丑萌，和“背手”這個(gè)頗有氣勢的姿勢放在一起，就形成了一種強(qiáng)烈反差。

Unlike many animal memes that go viral simply for being cute, this one is funny because it looks oddly serious. The possum's slightly silly face, mixed with such a calm and proper pose, creates a perfect contrast. It feels as if this small, scruffy animal is quietly thinking about something very important.

明明是小動(dòng)物，卻偏偏被看出了幾分人類社會(huì)里的派頭。也正是這種反差，讓它很快被網(wǎng)友截取、轉(zhuǎn)發(fā)、配字，慢慢傳到了國內(nèi)社交平臺(tái)。

The "paws-behind-back possum" is funny because it makes a tiny animal look calm, serious and strangely human — almost like a little boss who has seen it all. It was exactly this contrast that made people share it, add texts to it, and slowly bring it to social media.

負(fù)鼠：并非老鼠

說回負(fù)鼠本身，它并不是老鼠，而是一類有袋動(dòng)物，常見于美洲地區(qū)。負(fù)鼠大多在夜間活動(dòng)，什么都吃一點(diǎn)，適應(yīng)能力很強(qiáng)。

As for possums themselves, they are not rats, but marsupials commonly found in the Americas. Mostly active at night, they eat a wide range of food and adapt well to different environments. They can climb trees, use their flexible tails for balance, and may even "play dead" when threatened. It may look like they are simply giving up, but it is actually a way to protect themselves.

有一個(gè)很有意思的和負(fù)鼠相關(guān)的英文表達(dá)："play possum"。它的意思是“裝死、裝作不知道”，也可以理解成假裝沒反應(yīng)，借此躲開麻煩。

This possum did not go viral simply because people suddenly became fans of possums. What really made it popular was how familiar it felt. It may not be cute in the usual soft and pretty way, but its calm, slightly tired look somehow speaks to many people online.
